Jose Valdez-Flores
Jose Valdez-Flores/Mexico/Sexual Abuse
Jose Valdez-Flores, 43, a citizen of Mexico and an illegal alien present in the United States, was arrested by Enforcement and Removal Operations (ERO) Seattle officers. Valdez-Flores has a serious criminal conviction for sexual abuse in the state of Washington. Court documents confirm that the conviction stemmed from a 2020 incident involving a vulnerable adult, for which he was sentenced to serve time in a Washington correctional facility. Following the completion of his sentence, ERO officers assumed custody and initiated removal proceedings.
Records show Valdez-Flores originally entered the U.S. unlawfully, and he has no legal immigration status or pending applications for relief. His prior criminal offense placed him on ICE’s radar for enforcement due to the nature of the charge and the severity of the conviction. The arrest was coordinated with local law enforcement to ensure a safe transfer of custody following his release.
Due to his criminal background and immigration status, ICE has determined that Valdez-Flores poses a risk to the community and will keep him detained throughout the duration of his immigration proceedings. He is currently being held at a detention facility in Washington and will appear before an immigration judge to determine the outcome of his case.
