Josue Ramirez Mejia, a 34-year-old citizen of Guatemala, was arrested by officers with U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement’s New Orleans Field Office – Nashville Suboffice. Ramirez Mejia is an illegal alien with a violent criminal history that includes multiple felony-level offenses committed in the United States. His record includes two counts of aggravated burglary, a serious offense involving unlawful entry into a residence with the intent to commit a violent or felony crime. These convictions reflect a clear disregard for public safety and the law.
