Juan Carlos Diaz

Juan Carlos Diaz/Mexico/DUI

by G. George | June 19, 2025

Juan Carlos Diaz, a citizen of Mexico, was arrested by Enforcement and Removal Operations (ERO) New Orleans as part of an operation targeting criminal illegal aliens with multiple prior arrests. Diaz is unlawfully present in the United States and has demonstrated a pattern of repeated criminal conduct, particularly involving impaired driving.

Diaz has been arrested four times for driving under the influence (DUI), reflecting a clear disregard for public safety and legal compliance. DUI offenses are especially concerning due to their potential to cause fatal traffic incidents and endanger community members. In addition to his DUI history, Diaz has also failed to appear for scheduled court proceedings, which further complicates his legal standing and demonstrates noncompliance with the judicial process.

Following his arrest by ERO officers, Diaz was placed into ICE custody and is now pending immigration proceedings. He has no legal basis to remain in the United States and is being processed for potential removal in light of his repeated criminal activity. ERO officers located and arrested Diaz during a targeted enforcement operation in the New Orleans area. His detention reflects ICE’s ongoing mission to locate and remove illegal aliens who pose a threat to the community through repeat offenses and noncompliance with court orders.
