Juan Guarda-Segura/Mexico/Driving While Ability Impaired

ERO Denver arrested Juan Guarda-Segura, a 31-year-old citizen of Mexico and an illegal alien present in the United States. Guarda-Segura has a criminal conviction for Driving While Ability Impaired (DWAI), a charge that indicates he operated a motor vehicle while his faculties were diminished due to alcohol or drugs. DWAI offenses pose a serious threat to public safety and often lead to harsher legal consequences for repeat offenders or those involved in crashes.

After his conviction, Guarda-Segura was identified by immigration authorities as being unlawfully present in the country and was transferred to ICE custody.
