by G. George | July 05, 2025

Julio Sandoval, a 39-year-old citizen of Mexico and an illegal alien in the United States, was arrested by Enforcement and Removal Operations (ERO) New Orleans. Sandoval has a criminal history that includes multiple violent and property-related offenses, along with traffic violations that reflect a pattern of disregard for U.S. law.

According to court and arrest records, Sandoval has been convicted of aggravated assault and domestic assault, both serious offenses involving violent behavior toward others, including a known domestic partner. In one case, authorities reported that Sandoval threatened an individual with a weapon during a domestic dispute. He was arrested and later convicted, serving time before release into immigration custody.

His criminal history also includes a conviction for theft of property, where he was charged with stealing merchandise from a retail store and fleeing the scene. Police later apprehended him after a brief pursuit. In addition to these offenses, Sandoval has been cited for driving without a valid license and for operating a vehicle while his license was suspended, further endangering the public.

Sandoval entered the U.S. unlawfully and has no legal basis to remain. Due to his criminal convictions and repeated violations of the law, ICE placed him in removal proceedings. He will remain in ICE custody at a secure detention facility while his immigration case proceeds before an immigration judge.
