Khaly Seck/Senegal/Assault on a Female

Khaly Seck, a 60-year-old citizen of Senegal and illegal alien, was arrested by Enforcement and Removal Operations (ERO) Atlanta following local criminal charges filed against him in Wake County, North Carolina. According to ICE, Seck is currently facing a pending charge for assault on a female—an offense for which he was arrested by local law enforcement prior to being taken into federal immigration custody.

Seck is unlawfully present in the United States and has not obtained any legal immigration status. After his local criminal arrest, ICE officers took custody of him based on his immigration violations and the severity of the alleged crime. Assault on a female is considered a serious offense, particularly under North Carolina law, where it carries elevated status when the alleged perpetrator is male and the victim is a woman.

Upon his arrest by ICE, Seck was transported to a secure detention facility where he now awaits further immigration proceedings. He will remain in federal custody while the removal process is underway. ICE has not confirmed whether a final removal order has been issued but has stated that his detention is based on both criminal and immigration enforcement priorities.
