Lemuel Natan Gonzalez, 29, a citizen of Guatemala, was arrested by ERO New Orleans officers following a review of his criminal history and immigration status. Gonzalez is an illegal alien who entered the United States without inspection and does not possess lawful immigration status. His arrest follows multiple encounters with local law enforcement due to repeated violations of public safety laws.

Gonzalez’s criminal record includes a charge for driving under the influence (DUI), an offense that presents significant risk to the public. During the DUI arrest, authorities determined that Gonzalez was operating a vehicle while impaired, endangering both pedestrians and other drivers on the roadway. He was processed and released with conditions, but failed to comply with the terms associated with his release.

In addition to the DUI, Gonzalez has also been arrested for public order crimes. These include disorderly conduct and obstructing law enforcement, highlighting an ongoing pattern of unlawful behavior and disregard for community standards. Local agencies referred his case to ICE following his most recent arrest due to his immigration status and repeated criminal activity.

After his arrest by ICE, Gonzalez was transferred to a federal detention facility. He has been placed into immigration proceedings and remains in custody. Gonzalez is expected to appear before an immigration judge to determine the outcome of his case.
