Lloyd Tinashe Hwehwe/Zimbabwe/Manslaughter, DWI

by G. George | December 06, 2025

Lloyd Tinashe Hwehwe, a 36-year-old Zimbabwean national, is a criminal alien and convicted intoxication manslaughter offender arrested by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement during an enforcement action in Texas. Authorities report that he was taken into custody after reentering the United States illegally following a prior removal.

Hwehwe was convicted in 2015 of driving while intoxicated and intoxication manslaughter after a deadly crash in the Dallas area, a felony offense that resulted in his first deportation. Despite that history, he later unlawfully returned to the U.S. and was again arrested and convicted for a second DWI in 2024, demonstrating a repeated pattern of impaired driving and disregard for immigration law.

ICE officials have described Hwehwe as among the “worst of the worst” non‑citizen offenders due to his deadly drunk driving conviction, repeat DWI, and illegal reentry after deportation.
