Luis David Gonzalez
Luis David Gonzalez/Mexico/Assault
On May 9, 2025, ICE Enforcement and Removal Operations (ERO) Denver arrested Luis David Gonzalez, a 32-year-old Mexican national with a lengthy criminal record and a history of repeated unlawful entries into the United States. Gonzalez has been removed from the U.S. on three separate occasions and has continuously reentered the country without authorization.
Gonzalez’s criminal history includes convictions for assault, fraud, driving under the influence, and possession of controlled substances. Most recently, he was arrested and charged with a sex offense involving a minor, further elevating his status as a priority for immigration enforcement. Local authorities notified ICE following his latest arrest, and agents took him into custody after verifying his identity and immigration status.
His prior removals, combined with his ongoing pattern of criminal behavior and unauthorized reentry, led ERO Denver to initiate immediate removal proceedings. Gonzalez has no current applications for relief or legal immigration status and is classified as a previously removed aggravated felon.
Following his arrest, he was transported to a secure ICE detention facility in Colorado, where he will remain in custody while his immigration case proceeds. ICE officials are currently coordinating with Mexican authorities to finalize his removal once legal proceedings are complete.
