Malcom De Pippa/Cameroon/Domestic Violence
In May 2025, ICE Enforcement and Removal Operations (ERO) Chicago arrested Malcom De Pippa, a Cameroonian national with multiple criminal convictions in Manhattan, Kansas. De Pippa, who has no legal immigration status in the United States, was taken into custody following his release from state supervision related to prior convictions.
According to court records, De Pippa was previously convicted of domestic violence stemming from an incident involving a household member. In a separate case, he was also convicted of distributing cocaine, a felony offense under Kansas law. Both charges resulted in custodial sentences, after which he was subject to supervised release. Law enforcement officials had flagged his immigration status during the initial investigations, prompting ICE to monitor his custody status.
Following confirmation of his scheduled release, ERO Chicago coordinated with local authorities to execute his arrest. De Pippa was transferred to federal custody without incident. ICE officials verified that he had no lawful status or pending immigration applications at the time of his apprehension.
Currently detained at an ICE facility in the Midwest, De Pippa is undergoing removal proceedings. Given the nature of his convictions and unlawful presence, ICE has prioritized his case for adjudication before an immigration judge. He will remain in custody while deportation arrangements are finalized.
