by G. George | July 28, 2025

Marvin Coc, a 36-year-old citizen of Guatemala and convicted child predator, was deported by ICE New Orleans officers following the completion of his criminal sentence and immigration proceedings. Coc had been residing in the United States unlawfully and was identified by enforcement officers as a priority for removal due to his conviction for sexual exploitation of a minor.

According to official records, Coc was convicted in a U.S. court after authorities determined he engaged in criminal conduct involving the exploitation of a minor. The court sentenced him to 13 months of incarceration, during which he was placed on an immigration detainer to ensure he would be transferred directly to ICE custody upon release. After completing his sentence, Coc was detained by ICE pending removal proceedings and ultimately deported to Guatemala.

Coc had no legal status in the United States and was processed for removal under immigration law following his conviction. ICE officials confirmed that his deportation was executed without incident and that he was turned over to Guatemalan authorities upon arrival in his home country. He is now barred from returning to the United States.
