Mastrangelo Ferreira/Brazil/Indecent Assault And Battery

Officers with U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) in Boston arrested Mastrangelo Ferreira, a criminal alien from Brazil, on December 10. The targeted arrest was executed by enforcement officers focusing on individuals with significant criminal records found within the region. Ferreira was identified and taken into custody based on his specific history of convictions, which includes three separate counts of indecent assault and battery.

An ICE spokesman commented on the case, stating, “ICE Boston will continue to remove dangerous criminal aliens that threaten the safety of our communities.”

Following his arrest, Ferreira was processed and placed into federal custody. He currently remains detained while awaiting the final resolution of his immigration proceedings. Authorities indicated that the severity of the multiple assault charges prioritized his apprehension. He will be held without bond until a federal immigration judge issues a final ruling regarding his potential deportation to Brazil.
