Milciades Ramirez Ramon/Dominican Republic/Armed Robbery, Possession With Intent To Distribute Fentanyl
Officers with U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) in Boston arrested Milciades Ramirez Ramon, a criminal alien from the Dominican Republic, on December 1. The operation specifically targeted foreign nationals with significant criminal records. Ramirez Ramon has previous convictions for possession with intent to distribute fentanyl, assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, and armed robbery.
An ICE spokesman stated, “Apprehending individuals who traffic lethal narcotics and commit violent acts is essential for public safety.” Authorities noted that the combination of violent offenses and drug distribution makes such cases a high priority for removal operations.
Ramirez Ramon is currently in federal custody pending immigration proceedings. The arrest aligns with federal efforts to deport noncitizens who have been convicted of serious felonies in the United States. ICE continues to coordinate with local law enforcement to locate offenders posing threats to the community.
