Orlando Cruz-Hernandez/Mexico/Alien Smuggling

Orlando Cruz-Hernandez, 43, a citizen of Mexico and an illegal alien in the United States, was arrested by ICE San Antonio officers immediately upon his release from the Federal Bureau of Prisons. Cruz-Hernandez has a significant criminal record connected to immigration-related offenses that span several years, highlighting his repeated violations of U.S. law.

His criminal history includes a federal conviction in 2016 for smuggling aliens, a serious crime involving the transportation and concealment of individuals illegally crossing the border. Alien smuggling operations often subject migrants to dangerous conditions, exploitation, and abuse, making it a high-priority enforcement area for federal authorities.
