Oscar Correa-Pantoja
Oscar Correa-Pantoja/Mexico/DUI, Reckless Driving
ERO Seattle arrested Oscar Correa-Pantoja, a 27-year-old citizen of Mexico who is illegally present in the United States. Correa-Pantoja has a documented criminal history involving multiple offenses that present a danger to public safety. He was previously convicted of driving under the influence (DUI) and reckless driving, offenses that involve both impaired judgment and elevated risk to others on the road. In addition to his past convictions, he also has a recent arrest for another DUI, with prosecution pending in a local jurisdiction.
ICE officers took Correa-Pantoja into custody during targeted enforcement actions aimed at identifying illegal aliens with prior criminal convictions and unresolved criminal matters. His illegal presence in the United States, combined with repeated offenses involving alcohol-related driving crimes, led to his detention.
Following his arrest, ERO officers placed Correa-Pantoja in ICE custody pending immigration proceedings. ICE officials confirmed that he did not enter the country legally and that he has no legal immigration status permitting him to remain in the United States. He will remain detained throughout the course of his removal proceedings.
Given his pattern of criminal behavior and illegal status, Correa-Pantoja may also face expedited removal, depending on the outcome of his pending DUI case and immigration court proceedings.
