Patricio Reyes-Hernandez
Patricio Reyes-Hernandez/Mexico/Aggravated Drug Trafficking
On July 30, ICE Enforcement and Removal Operations (ERO) Dallas arrested Patricio Reyes-Hernandez, a 22-year-old citizen of Mexico and criminal alien with a serious narcotics-related conviction. Reyes-Hernandez had been previously convicted of aggravated trafficking of illegal drugs, a felony offense that resulted in a five-year sentence of confinement.
Federal authorities took Reyes-Hernandez into ICE custody after identifying him as a priority for removal based on his criminal background and immigration status. He had been residing in the United States illegally, and his involvement in the distribution of illegal narcotics led to his apprehension and prosecution under U.S. criminal law. His conviction, which carried significant penalties, reflects the severity of his conduct.
Following his release from criminal custody, ICE officers processed Reyes-Hernandez for immigration enforcement. He is currently being held by ICE pending removal proceedings. No bond has been granted, and he will remain in detention throughout the remainder of his immigration case.
ICE has not reported any additional pending charges or investigations related to his activity at this time. Removal actions are being coordinated based on his final criminal conviction and unlawful status within the country.
