Raul Lomas-Ontiveros/Mexico/Indecent Exposure In Front of a Child

On May 2025, ICE Enforcement and Removal Operations (ERO) Denver arrested Raul Lomas-Ontiveros, a 53-year-old Mexican national with a prior felony conviction for indecent exposure in front of a child. Lomas-Ontiveros is also a registered sex offender and has no lawful immigration status in the United States.

The arrest occurred following his release from local custody after officials confirmed his prior sex offense conviction and immigration violations. Lomas-Ontiveros had previously served time for the felony conviction and was registered as a sex offender in the state. Despite this, he remained unlawfully present in the country and was identified by ICE as a priority for enforcement action due to the nature of his conviction and ongoing threat to community safety.

Following his apprehension, ERO officers transported Lomas-Ontiveros to a secure immigration detention facility. ICE records indicate he has no pending applications for legal status or protection from removal. This arrest marks a continuation of ICE Denver’s ongoing operations to identify and detain criminal aliens with sex-related offenses, especially those involving vulnerable victims such as minors.

He will remain in ICE custody pending the outcome of immigration proceedings before a federal judge. ICE is currently working to facilitate his removal to Mexico should a final removal order be issued.
