Rigoberto Nuevo-Olvera

Rigoberto Nuevo-Olvera/Mexico/Cocaine Distribution

by G. George | July 25, 2026

U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement arrested Rigoberto Nuevo-Olvera, a criminal illegal alien from Mexico, in New Castle, Delaware, on charges of selling cocaine.

Selling cocaine involves the active distribution of a Schedule I controlled substance, carrying significantly higher criminal penalties than possession under both Delaware and federal law. Distribution charges carry mandatory minimum sentences that increase based on the quantity involved. Criminal illegal aliens convicted of drug distribution face both criminal prosecution and mandatory federal removal proceedings.

ICE Enforcement and Removal Operations officers apprehended Nuevo-Olvera in New Castle. He currently remains in federal immigration custody and faces removal proceedings before a Department of Justice immigration judge, with potential deportation back to Mexico.
