Roberto Carlos Murillo-Delgado
Roberto Carlos Murillo-Delgado/Mexico/Fentanyl Trafficking, Drug Distribution
On July 30, ICE Enforcement and Removal Operations (ERO) Dallas arrested Roberto Carlos Murillo-Delgado, a 24-year-old criminal alien and citizen of Mexico, for immigration violations stemming from his serious drug-related criminal convictions. Murillo-Delgado was identified by ICE officers as a removable alien following his involvement in felony narcotics trafficking in the United States.
According to ICE records, Murillo-Delgado has been convicted of trafficking fentanyl and distribution of a controlled substance—two major offenses that pose significant risks to public health and safety. These convictions reflect his role in the illegal drug trade and were key factors leading to his immigration arrest. Fentanyl, a synthetic opioid, has been linked to a surge in overdose deaths nationwide, and individuals convicted of trafficking it are treated as high-priority cases by immigration authorities.
Following his apprehension by ICE on July 30, Murillo-Delgado was processed and placed into detention pending removal proceedings. He is currently in ICE custody and will remain detained while his case proceeds through the immigration court system. There is no indication of bond eligibility, and he has been designated for removal based on his criminal activity and unlawful presence in the U.S.
