On February 5, 2025, ICE New England, arrested Ronald Jose Reyes Ollarvides, a Venezuelan national, for administrative violations. Reyes Ollarvides is a known TdA (Tren de Aragua) gang member/associate, he has prior criminal convictions for Robbery; Larceny and Possession of Stolen Property. Reyes Ollarvides is an alien illegally present in the U.S., he entered the country without inspection on 12/31/2023. Reyes Ollarvides will remain in ICE custody, pending removal proceedings.

Similar to Reyes, on February 5, 2025, ICE’s Enforcement and Removal Operations (ERO) New England arrested 28-year-old Venezuelan national Carlos Daniel Teran-Aguilar during a targeted enforcement operation in Austin, Texas. Teran-Aguilar had unlawfully entered the United States without inspection and was flagged by authorities due to his known affiliation with the Tren de Aragua gang, a transnational criminal organization originating in Venezuela.

Federal records indicated that Teran-Aguilar was wanted in Chile for multiple serious charges, including narcotics trafficking and weapons offenses. Despite his international criminal background, he had been residing in the U.S. without legal status since his unauthorized entry. ICE officers located and apprehended him without incident.

Following his arrest, Teran-Aguilar was issued administrative immigration charges and placed into removal proceedings. He is currently detained at a secure ICE facility in Texas. Due to his gang affiliation and serious foreign criminal history, Teran-Aguilar has been classified as a high-priority case and will remain in ICE custody pending the outcome of his deportation proceedings.
