Ruben Macias-Roldan, a criminal illegal alien from Mexico and identified Paisas gang member, was arrested in Sandstone, Minnesota, following a series of violent sex crime convictions. He has been convicted of strongarm rape, a forcible sexual assault involving physical overpowering of the victim, as well as additional sex offense and sex assault counts tied to separate incidents.

According to enforcement information, Macias-Roldan’s crimes involved the sexual abuse of young victims over a period of years, with multiple counts reflecting repeated predatory conduct. Officials also link him to the Paisas gang, noting that his criminal history combines gang affiliation with serious sexual violence.

Macías-Roldan was taken into custody during a targeted immigration enforcement action and transferred to federal detention. A law enforcement spokesman said he remains held pending removal proceedings, with his strongarm rape, other sex offenses, and gang ties central to the case for his deportation from the United States.
