Su Yang/Laos/Robbery

Su Yang, a national of Laos, was arrested in Detroit, Michigan, on a robbery offense connected to his prior violent criminal history. Public enforcement and advocacy postings list Yang, 47, as having been previously convicted of robbery in Toledo, Ohio, where he was identified as a repeat offender with a record of serious property and violence-related crime.

Authorities in Detroit took Yang into custody as part of broader enforcement actions targeting Laotian criminal illegal aliens with prior robbery and home-invasion convictions. He remains under criminal and immigration review while officials assess his past robbery conviction, the current robbery arrest in Detroit, and any ongoing community safety risks before determining prosecution outcomes and potential removal to Laos.
