Officers with U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) arrested Surinder Singh, a criminal illegal alien from India, following an investigation into his criminal history in the United States. Singh was previously convicted of attempted abduction, for which he was sentenced to a year and five months in prison. Records indicate that in 2023, he faced additional charges for a sex offense and strongarm rape.

Authorities emphasized that Singh’s record of violent behavior and predatory crimes made him a priority for enforcement action. An ICE spokesman confirmed the arrest, stating that the agency is committed to removing individuals who pose a demonstrated threat to public safety.
