Thai national Teng Houa Vang was arrested by federal immigration authorities during Operation Metro Surge. Vang was previously convicted of domestic assault and pled guilty to terroristic threats and violation of a protection order. Federal records indicate Vang has also been charged with arson, peeping tom offenses, obstructing police, trespassing, assault, drug possession, and property damage.

According to Department of Homeland Security statements, Vang’s extensive criminal history spans multiple violent and property offenses over several years. Immigration and Customs Enforcement identified Vang as subject to removal based on his criminal convictions.
