Tri Ngoc Tran/Vietnam/Importation of, Possession with Intent to Distribute Opium

ICE Los Angeles arrested Tri Ngoc Tran, a 56-year-old citizen and national of Vietnam, on July 9, 2025, following his identification as a removable noncitizen due to recent drug trafficking-related arrests in the United States. According to ICE records, Tran was recently arrested for importation of opium, an offense involving the unlawful transportation or introduction of a controlled substance into the country.
