Unknown/El Salvador/Robbery, Aggravated Homicide, Aggravated Kidnap, Theft
A 55-year-old Salvadoran national was arrested by ICE officers in Lynn, Massachusetts, after being identified as a wanted fugitive in his home country. He is the subject of an active Interpol Red Notice issued by El Salvador, where he is sought for multiple violent crimes, including aggravated homicide, robbery, aggravated kidnapping, and theft.
The man had entered the United States illegally and was residing unlawfully when officers from U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement located and detained him. ICE agents carried out the arrest based on the foreign criminal charges and his immigration status. He did not have legal authorization to remain in the country and had no pending legal protections against removal.
Following his arrest, the individual was transferred into ICE custody and is being held at a secure detention facility. He will face removal proceedings under U.S. immigration law while El Salvador pursues charges for the alleged crimes. ICE confirmed that the fugitive was located in coordination with relevant law enforcement agencies and processed accordingly. At the time of his arrest, he had no valid immigration relief available.
