Unknown Name/Mexico/Member of the ‘Guerreros Unidos’ Criminal Syndicate
On January 29, 2025, ICE Ventura and the USMS administratively arrested a citizen of Mexico for violations of the INA, Alien Present without Admission or Parole. The subject, whose name was not released, is suspected of being a member of the “Guerreros Unidos” Mexican Criminal Syndicate.
The subject was previously apprehended and removed from the U.S. to Mexico eight times and has two convictions for driving while under the influence (DUI) in the State of California.
In a similar case, on February 15, 2025, ICE’s Enforcement and Removal Operations (ERO) Los Angeles, in coordination with the U.S. Marshals Service, administratively arrested 42-year-old Mexican national Juan Carlos Ramirez-Gonzalez in Ventura County, California.
Ramirez-Gonzalez was taken into custody for violations of the Immigration and Nationality Act, specifically being present in the United States without admission or parole. He is suspected of being affiliated with the “Guerreros Unidos” Mexican criminal syndicate.
According to ICE records, Ramirez-Gonzalez had been previously apprehended and removed from the United States eight times. Despite these removals, he unlawfully reentered the country on multiple occasions. Additionally, he has two convictions for driving under the influence (DUI) in the State of California. At the time of his arrest, Ramirez-Gonzalez had no pending immigration relief or legal protections to prevent his removal. He remains in ICE custody pending the outcome of his removal proceedings.
