Vang Pao Lee/Laos/Attempted Criminal Sexual Conduct with a Minor, Domestic Violence, DUI

Vang Pao Lee, a criminal illegal alien from Laos arrested in Minneapolis on Jan. 7, has been convicted of a series of offenses that span sexual, violent, and property-related crimes. His record includes attempted criminal sexual conduct with a victim under 16 years of age, a felony involving efforts to engage in unlawful sexual activity with a minor. He has also been convicted of domestic violence, reflecting assaults within a household setting, and receiving stolen property, indicating involvement with goods obtained through theft.​

Lee’s criminal history further lists contempt of court and driving under the influence of liquor, showing repeated disregard for judicial orders and public safety on the roads. Because he is unlawfully present in the United States and a convicted sex offender, he is subject to immigration enforcement actions that prioritize offenders with serious and repeated criminal conduct.​

“In the face of violent attacks, ICE law enforcement arrested pedophiles, rapists, and drug traffickers in Minneapolis yesterday,” Assistant Secretary Tricia McLaughlin said in a news release. “Every single day our law enforcement officers put their lives on the line to arrest the worst of the worst criminal illegal aliens from American communities. We will not let rioters slow us down from making Minnesota safe again—something Governor Walz and Mayor Frey REFUSED to do.”
