ICE Los Angeles HSI Integrated Operations Group arrested Victor Manuel Mendoza-Rivas, a 61-year-old Mexican national, on August twelve. According to arrest paperwork, he faces state charges for transportation and sale of narcotics and for sexual assault of a minor. He was taken into custody in the Los Angeles area and transferred to an ICE facility for intake. He will remain in immigration detention while his case proceeds through removal proceedings before an immigration judge.
