Victor Marin, a national of El Salvador and documented member of the Los Centrales gang, was arrested in Sandstone, Minnesota, on federal immigration and criminal charges tied to prior robbery and unlawful return to the United States. Authorities allege Marin previously participated in a robbery before being removed from the country, then later reentered without authorization in violation of INA section 101(a)(43)(O) and 8 U.S.C. 1326.

ICE officers located Marin during an enforcement operation in the Sandstone area, where he was taken into custody without incident and transferred to federal detention pending further proceedings. Prosecutors are expected to pursue an illegal reentry indictment alongside any renewed action related to the earlier robbery offense.

Officials said Marin’s documented affiliation with Los Centrales will be considered as part of the case as they coordinate with Minnesota and federal authorities on prosecution and removal.
