Walden Edgardo Perdomo-Escobar/Honduras/Sexual Battery

by G. George | June 19, 2025

Walden Edgardo Perdomo-Escobar, a 41-year-old illegal alien and citizen of Honduras, was deported by ERO New Orleans following his conviction for sexual battery and his unlawful re-entry into the United States after a prior removal. Perdomo-Escobar had originally been removed by immigration authorities in 2017 but later reentered the U.S. illegally through an unknown location. He was arrested by local law enforcement in Louisiana in connection with a felony sexual battery case that involved use of force against a helpless victim.

Court records show that Perdomo-Escobar was charged and convicted of sexual battery by force or against a person unable to resist. He served a prison sentence for this conviction and was then transferred into ICE custody upon completion of his sentence. In addition to the sex crime, Perdomo-Escobar was also prosecuted under 8 U.S.C. ยง 1326 for illegal re-entry after deportation, which is a federal offense.

A final order of removal was reinstated based on his prior deportation, and Perdomo-Escobar was deported to Honduras aboard a designated ICE Air Operations flight. Upon arrival, he was turned over to Honduran authorities without incident. ICE conducted the deportation in accordance with the judicial removal order.

Perdomo-Escobar is no longer present in the United States, and his removal concluded a case involving both violent sexual assault and repeated immigration violations.
