Yali Hernandez-De Jesus/Honduras/Violation of Court Order
Yali Hernandez-De Jesus, 32, a citizen of Honduras, was arrested by Enforcement and Removal Operations (ERO) San Antonio. Hernandez is an illegal alien who entered the United States without inspection or authorization and had remained unlawfully present. He was recently convicted of violating a court order and sentenced to 179 days in jail. His arrest and incarceration reflect a pattern of disregard for U.S. laws and judicial authority.
Court records indicate that Hernandez was issued a protective or legal directive by the court, which he willfully violated. His conviction for contempt of that order suggests a refusal to comply with lawful boundaries set by the judiciary. This behavior, combined with his unlawful immigration status, led ICE officers to take him into custody upon his release.
Hernandez’s criminal offense, though not violent, involved deliberate noncompliance with the court, a serious matter in the eyes of immigration enforcement. Given the nature of his conduct and his illegal presence in the country, he was placed in ICE detention and is currently awaiting further immigration proceedings. He will remain in custody throughout the adjudication of his case, and if ordered removed, he will be deported back to Honduras.
