Yeyson Denilson Cajbon-Gomez/Guatemala/MS-13, Concealed Weapon

ICE Los Angeles HSI Integrated Operations Group arrested Yeyson Denilson Cajbon-Gomez, an 18-year-old Guatemalan national and MS-13 gang member, on August 28. Cajbon-Gomez faces charges of unlawfully carrying a concealed weapon.

MS-13 is designated as a transnational criminal organization involved in drug trafficking, murder, extortion, and weapons offenses. Federal authorities prioritize enforcement actions against MS-13 members due to the gang’s violent operations and threat to communities. Illegal weapons possession by gang members compounds public safety concerns.

Cajbon-Gomez is currently detained in ICE custody awaiting removal proceedings to Guatemala. ICE works with gang task forces to identify and apprehend foreign nationals affiliated with MS-13 and other transnational criminal organizations. Federal immigration authorities target gang members who pose threats to public safety through weapons violations and organized crime.
