Yosigen Fuentes Maldonado/Mexico/Domestic Assault, DUI, Violation of Protection Order, Possession of Marijuana

On July 2025, ICE New Orleans arrested Yosigen Fuentes Maldonado, a citizen of Mexico who is illegally present in the United States. Maldonado was taken into custody during targeted enforcement efforts aimed at foreign nationals with criminal convictions and outstanding immigration violations.

Maldonado has a broad criminal record in the United States. His convictions include domestic assault, violation of a protection order, DUI, possession of marijuana, reckless driving, shoplifting, and possession of drug paraphernalia. These offenses, especially those involving violence and disregard for court-ordered protective measures, placed him on ICE’s radar for enforcement action.
