Border Czar sounds the alarm over terrorist sleeper cells, gotaways who entered under Biden

The Biden administration’s grossly negligent border policies — which failed the American people and made it easy for terrorists to enter — have been pushed to the forefront once again.

U.S. officials have expressed growing concerns over potential terrorist sleeper cells in the U.S., especially after four years of Biden’s open border policies that allowed millions of unvetted immigrants to enter the country illegally.

The Department of Homeland Security arrested several Iranian nationals and criminal illegal aliens following the U.S. bombing of Iran’s nuclear facilities, reflecting a commitment to keeping known and suspected terrorists out of American communities, according to a DHS news release.

“Under Secretary Noem, DHS has been full throttle on identifying and arresting known or suspected terrorists and violent extremists that illegally entered this country, came in through Biden’s fraudulent parole programs or otherwise,” DHS Assistant Secretary Tricia McLaughlin said in a statement about the initial 11 arrests that were publicly announced.

FOX News reported that U.S. Customs and Border Patrol caught more than 1,500 Iranian nationals under Biden, and over 700 were released back into U.S., according to a senior CBP source.

Border Czar Tom Homan appeared Tuesday on FOX Business’s “Mornings with Maria” and FOX’s “Hannity” to discuss the concerns.

“This is the biggest national security issue this country has ever faced,” Homan told Sean Hannity. “Because not only do you have 700 and some released, but number one they can’t be properly vetted… Do you think Iran would give us any information about their national security issues or the past or records of who these people are?”

Homan said he is extremely concerned about the 2 million gotaways who pay more to deliberately avoid Border Patrol. He called it the “biggest national security vulnerability” the U.S. has ever faced.

“We don’t know who they are, where they came from, or why they’re here,” Homan told Hannity. “That scares me more than anything.”

Homan stressed that the sleeper cell prospect has been one of his top concerns for years. Now, the Trump administration is focused on “clean[ing] up” the mess left by the previous administration, an effort that started with securing the border, Fox News Digital reported.

Former acting DHS secretary Chad Wolf echoed Homan’s concerns, citing the severity of unidentified foreign nationals who poured across the U.S. border from all over the world.

Footage from the U.S. southern border showed countless IDs from countries with terrorist ties dropped at the border during the height of the crisis, including Iran, China and various Arab countries.

Wolf appeared on FOX’s “America’s Newsroom” on Tuesday, warning that “Hezbollah and Hamas and others” are already in the United States, per Fox News Digital.

“This is a real concern, and, unfortunately, four years of the Biden administration will eventually have consequences,” Wolf said. “We’ll see if they are activated. We’ll see if they’re inspired. The FBI and local law enforcement – I know they’re doing everything that they can…”

The DHS issued a memo sounding the alarm on a “heightened threat environment” in the U.S. following the U.S. strikes on Iran. And with weekly protests over anything anti-Trump and increased incidents of political violence across the country, the American public has reason to be vigilant and alert of their surroundings.

In Los Angeles, demonstrators quickly mobilized, condemning the U.S. military action and calling for de-escalation.
