Facebook has deleted a group page used by liberal activists to track and dox U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents operating in Chicago following pressure from the Department of Justice.
“Today following outreach from @thejusticedept, Facebook removed a large group page that was being used to dox and target @ICEgov agents in Chicago,” Attorney General Pam Bondi said in a post on X.

The Trump administration says assaults on immigration enforcement officials are up “more than 1000%” as it has prioritized detaining and deporting violent illegal immigrants.
According to Bondi, social media and tracking apps are being used by activists to target ICE.
“The wave of violence against ICE has been driven by online apps and social media campaigns designed to put ICE officers at risk just for doing their jobs,” she said. “The Department of Justice will continue engaging tech companies to eliminate platforms where radicals can incite imminent violence against federal law enforcement.”
Meta, the tech company that owns Facebook, said the page “was removed for violating our policies against coordinated harm,” the Associated Press reported.
Department of Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem said the Trump administration will prosecute those doxxing ICE agents.
“These officers risk their lives every day arresting murderers, rapists, and gang members to protect our homeland. Platforms like Facebook must be PROACTIVE in stopping the doxxing of our @ICEgov law enforcement,” she said. “We will prosecute those who dox our agents to the fullest extent of the law.”
Anti-ICE radicals are using social media apps to dox, threaten, and terrorize the brave men and women of ICE and their families.

Last week, an illegal alien gang member in Chicago was arrested for putting out a hit on social media for U.S. Border Patrol Commander at Large Chief Gregory Bovino.
Drug cartels in Mexico are reportedly behind bounties for gangs in the U.S. to target federal immigration agents.
