Five of ‘worst of the worst’ arrested for murder, child sex offenses, and violent crimes

U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement announced the arrests of more public safety threats amid continued demonization by sanctuary state politicians and radical anti-ICE activists that have resulted in a 1,300% increase in assaults, a 3,300% increase in vehicular attacks, and an 8,000% increase in death threats across the country.

As activists run counter operations, aided by sanctuary policies that prohibit cooperation and peaceful transfers of the worst of the worst, federal authorities are forced to unnecessarily risk their lives to arrest offenders convicted of violent crimes, child sexual offenses, and other serious felonies.

While outlining this current landscape, Acting Assistant Secretary Lauren Bis, didn’t hold back this week.

“While sanctuary politicians continue to smear ICE law enforcement, our officers continue to put their lives on the line to make America safe again. Yesterday, our law enforcement arrested murderers, pedophiles, and robbers,” Bis said. “As our officers arrest the worst of the worst, they are facing coordinated campaigns of violence against them, including a more than 1,300% increase in assaults against them and an 8,000% increase in death threats.”

In a separate statement, Bis emphasized these thankless acts of bravery by Immigration and Customs Enforcement officers as they face increasingly dangerous circumstances while targeting violent offenders and sexual predators.

“Instead of thanking our brave ICE law enforcement for removing the worst of the worst from our communities, sanctuary politicians continue spreading garbage about ICE facilities and engaging in political theatre,” Bis said. “By taking these criminal illegal aliens off our streets, ICE is putting the safety of Americans first. Under President Trump and Secretary Mullin, criminals are not welcome in the United States.”

Federal authorities highlighted last week’s worst of the worst arrested amid escalating clashes with radical anti-ICE activists, and sanctuary policies.

ICE Long Island Fugitive Operations arrested Jose Wilson Fuentes-Saravia, a child sex predator who was convicted by Suffolk County court of sexually abusing a child younger than 11. He was given a six-month sentence and then released on probation despite having a final order of removal on record since 2014.

During this targeted immigration enforcement operation, officers were met by radical anti-ICE protestors who were blowing whistles, honking horns and filming officers, authorities said. Protests later escalated, resulting in a riot being declared as protesters descended upon the New Jersey ICE detention facility.

Kha Ngoc Le, a criminal illegal alien from Vietnam, was convicted in Manchester, New Hampshire, of voluntary manslaughter, disorderly conduct, street robbery with a gun, burglary, resident robbery with a weapon, and burglary-forced entry. Immigration and Customs Enforcement officers arrested him during enforcement actions targeting violent recidivists.

Cristobal Liobardo Vasquez-Sanchez, a criminal illegal alien from El Salvador, is accused of sexually assaulting a woman in the stairwell of an Arlington, Va., parking garage. ICE lodged a detainer against Vasquez-Sanchez in April last year, but thanks to sanctuary policies, he was released back into the community. Now, he’s BACK in jail on sexual assault charges, and ICE has issued yet another detainer against him.

Andres Espinosa-Reyna, a criminal illegal alien from Mexico, was convicted in Harris County, Texas, of sexual assault of a child under 14 years old. Federal officials said he was taken into custody during recent enforcement operations focused on crimes against minors.

Jose Ordonez-Mendez, a criminal illegal alien from Guatemala, was convicted in Boynton Beach, Florida, of attempted sexual battery on a child less than 12 years old. Authorities said he was arrested as part of nationwide operations targeting child exploitation offenses.

Dhaval Amratbhai Patel, a criminal illegal alien from India, was convicted in Worcester, Massachusetts, of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon after beating a man with a baseball bat. Sanctuary politicians released him from jail without notifying ICE; officers arrested him shortly after.

Jose Gutierrez-Portillo, a criminal illegal alien from Guatemala, was convicted of murder in Mineola, New York. He was among those taken into custody in operations targeting homicide offenders and other public safety threats.

Sharon Cristina Cruz-Wences, a criminal illegal alien from Mexico, was convicted for selling a person for immoral purposes in Bakersfield, California. A perfect example of an individual ‘with no criminal record,’ Cruz-Wences was allowed to cut a deal with the State of California as she faced three years in prison for enticing a minor to engage in prostitution. Cruz-Wences was then released back into society after a Bakersfield judge dismissed all charges against her for child trafficking.

Department of Homeland Security officials said Immigration and Customs Enforcement will continue enforcement actions nationwide targeting criminal illegal aliens convicted of violent, sexual, and other serious crimes. Americans can view more profiles at WOW.DHS.gov.
