ICE arrests ‘worst of the worst’ criminal illegal aliens across the U.S.

U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement announced a new round of arrests involving what federal officials called “the worst of the worst” criminal illegal aliens, highlighting a continued focus on removing violent offenders, gang members, and child predators from American communities. According to the agency, more than 70% of ICE arrests involve illegal aliens charged with or convicted of crimes committed inside the United States.

Assistant Secretary Tricia McLaughlin said the scope of recent arrests reflects how deeply illegal migration has affected communities nationwide. “Every town is a border town because of 4 years of mass illegal migration into our country,” McLaughlin said. She also noted that on a single day, ICE officers apprehended “child pornographers, MS-13 gang members, and murderers,” crediting law enforcement personnel who “put their lives on the line to remove these heinous criminals from our neighborhoods.”

Below are five of the most serious offenders apprehended:

  1. Francisco Luna-Tristan – Mexico

ICE arrested Luna-Tristan, a criminal illegal alien convicted of indecency with a child by sexual contact in Kerr County, Texas. Officers identified him as a public safety threat due to his prior conviction involving a minor.

  1. Hsa Mu Na – Thailand

Na, a criminal illegal alien from Thailand, was convicted in the U.S. District Court for the District of Nebraska for producing, distributing, and possessing child pornography. ICE took him into custody following his federal conviction.

  1. David Diaz-Alvarado – El Salvador

A confirmed MS-13 gang member, Diaz-Alvarado was convicted of murder in aid of racketeering in the U.S. District Court for the District of Maryland. ICE officials described him as one of the most dangerous individuals taken into custody during this enforcement action.

  1. Kevin Damian Duhaney – Jamaica

Duhaney, a criminal illegal alien from Jamaica, was convicted of criminal possession of a firearm and attempted assault in Hempstead, N.Y. He was arrested as part of ICE’s continued efforts to remove violent offenders with prior weapons charges.

  1. Leonel Longoria-Aquirino – Mexico

Longoria-Aquirino, a criminal illegal alien from Mexico, was convicted of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon in Dallas, Texas. ICE apprehended him based on his violent criminal record and risk to the surrounding community.

ICE stated that these arrests underscore the agency’s ongoing mission to locate and remove criminal illegal aliens who pose significant dangers to public safety. The agency emphasized that continued enforcement remains essential as communities across the country confront the consequences of years of increased illegal migration.
