ICE arrests ‘worst of the worst’ criminal illegal aliens nationwide

U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement announced the arrest of several “worst of the worst” criminal illegal aliens across the country, including individuals convicted of sexual crimes against children, violent assaults, and other serious offenses. Federal officials stated that the arrests reflect ongoing enforcement efforts aimed at removing dangerous offenders from American communities.

Assistant Secretary Tricia McLaughlin praised ICE officers for carrying out the arrests during the holiday season. “This Christmas season, we are grateful for our law enforcement officers who put their lives on the line to make America safe again,” McLaughlin said. “Just yesterday, they arrested pedophiles, violent thugs, and drug traffickers.”

Below are five of the most serious offenders taken into custody:

  1. Dagoberto Cortes-Mejia – Mexico

Cortes-Mejia, an illegal alien from Mexico, was convicted of arranging to meet a minor in Los Angeles, Calif.

  1. Jose Manuel Fuentes-Vargas

Fuentes-Vargas, pictured above, was arrested in Illinois after convictions for domestic battery, violation of a protection order, and sexual assault of a victim under the age of 13.

  1. Amilcar Waldo Gonzalez-Jimenez

Gonzalez-Jimenez, arrested in Illinois, has convictions for domestic battery, driving under the influence, and criminal sexual assault.

  1. Juan Alberto Caro Marin

Caro Marin was arrested in Chicago following a conviction for aggravated criminal sexual abuse of a child.

  1. Juan Maximino Meda-Sanchez

Meda-Sanchez, a criminal illegal alien from Guatemala, was convicted of felony aggravated assault with intent to cause serious bodily injury in Newark, N.J.

ICE officials said these arrests demonstrate the agency’s continued focus on identifying and removing criminal illegal aliens who pose serious risks to public safety, emphasizing that enforcement operations remain ongoing nationwide despite local resistance to federal immigration efforts.
