Federal immigration agents are asking Bay County, Florida, law enforcement not to release an illegal alien from Jamaica who has been charged with stabbing two fast food workers earlier this month.
Shaquiel Sheldon Williams, 22, faces two counts of aggravated battery with a deadly weapon after stabbing the two employees at a Panama Beach City Burger King on August 13. Williams reportedly had a dispute with the employees and “refused to pay for his food.”

After stabbing the two employees, Williams fled the scene on foot and was caught following an hour-long manhunt, local news reported.
According to the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, Williams entered the U.S. lawfully in December 2023 during the Biden administration, but “overstayed the authorized period.”
“This criminal illegal alien from Jamaica now faces two counts of aggravated battery with a deadly weapon after he stabbed two Burger King employees,” a U.S. Department of Homeland Security spokesperson said in a statement. “If it weren’t for the Biden Administration letting him in, he never would have been in our country and this attack never would have happened.”

“ICE will work with our partners in Florida to make sure this thug is removed from our country after he faces justice,” the spokesperson added.
ICE submitted the detainer request to Bay County Jail, where Williams is being jailed, on August 13 after his arrest, DHS said.
