ICE touts arrest of pedophiles, drug traffickers amid 1000% surge in assaults on agents

The crackdown on criminal illegal immigrants convicted of violent assaults, sex crimes against children and drug trafficking continues despite a 1000% surge in assaults on federal immigration agents.

U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement isn’t being deterred in its mission to find and arrest the “worst of the worst” amid ongoing violence and antagonistic rhetoric by Democratic politicians.

“These acts of violence are fueled by sanctuary politicians’ rhetoric vilifying our law enforcement,” said Department of Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem in a statement.

We will not and have not let this violence stop us or slow us down. Everyday our law enforcement continues to enforce the law and arrest the most depraved criminals including pedophiles, terrorists, murderers, gang members and sexual predators.”

Over the weekend, DHS Assistant Secretary Tricia McLaughlin suggested Arizona State Senator Analise Ortiz could face charges for doxxing ICE following a Libs of TikTok expose and said in a social media post “this certainly looks like obstruction of justice.”

“Ortiz is siding with vicious cartels, human traffickers, and violent criminals over American citizens,” she wrote on X. “Notifying the public about ICE law enforcement operations endangers law enforcement and weakens American national security.”

In an appearance on “Fox and Friends,” McLaughlin sounded off again, saying, “Whether it be JB Pritzker, Gov. Murphy, Karen Bass, or Gavin Newsom, they have blood on their hands.”

Among the most high-profile individuals ICE apprehended in recent days were:

  • Osvaldo Rabiero-Alvarez of Cuba, who was convicted of aggravated assault in Jefferson County, Texas.
  • Andres Guilarte of Cuba, who was convicted of trafficking cocaine and grand theft motor vehicle in Naples, Fla.
  • Xiaoming Zhao of China, who was convicted of possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance in Berks County, Pa.
  • Andrew Kerr of Jamaica, who was convicted of assault in Brooklyn, N.Y.
  • Eduardo Soto-Fuentes of El Salvador, who was convicted of carnal knowledge of a juvenile and indecent behavior with a juvenile in Livingston, LA.

ICE also rounded up more criminals convicted of serious crimes including child exploitation, domestic violence, heroin trafficking, alien smuggling and weapons offenses across the country.

  • Cristian Brayan Aleman-Leiva, a criminal illegal alien from El Salvador, convicted of possession of a firearm, concealed weapon in Fairfax County, VA, and petit larceny in Herndon, VA.
  • Jose Javier Romero-Hernandez, a criminal illegal alien from Mexico, convicted of burglary first degree, domestic assault and battery by strangulation, domestic assault with a dangerous weapon, threaten act of violence, and malicious injury or destruction of property in Oklahoma City, OK.
  • Juan Ignacio Amaya-Hernandez, a criminal illegal alien from Mexico, convicted of indecency with a child in McLennan County, TX.
  • Elin Edicson Ochoa-Hernandez, a criminal illegal alien from Honduras, convicted of alien smuggling in Del Rio, TX.
  • Manuel De Jesus Lopez-Marroquin, a criminal illegal alien from Guatemala, convicted of distribution of heroin, possession of a controlled dangerous substance, and hindering in Middlesex County, NJ.

The Biden administration turned a blind eye to these predators, but ICE continues to protect American families from criminals, traffickers and domestic abusers who threaten public safety, McLaughlin added.

“Every one of these men left a victim behind – scarred, addicted, terrified and worse,” McLaughlin said in a statement. “Under President Trump and Secretary Noem, we’re taking these lowlifes off the streets. DHS will continue to swiftly arrest, detain and remove the worst of the worst criminal illegal aliens. Americans deserve to feel safe in their own country.”

DHS recently kicked off a nationwide campaign to recruit several federal law enforcement agencies, including DHS, ICE, Customs and Border Protection and Border Patrol.

DHS encourages Americans — of any age — with a commitment to public safety, national service, and upholding the rule of law to apply today to help “defend the homeland” and begin a fulfilling career in federal law enforcement with ICE: join.ice.gov.
