Illegal from Mexico gets 30 years in prison for producing child porn

An illegal alien convicted of producing child pornography in Fredericksburg, Virginia will serve 30 years in prison and then be deported.

Samuel Flores de Dios, who’s from Mexico, filmed himself sexually abusing a minor in the bedroom of his Fredericksburg apartment on at least four occasions from February and March 2025.

“Flores de Dios sexually abused the victim and recorded the abuse on cellphones positioned around his bedroom,” the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of Virginia said in a statement announcing the sentencing. “One of the cellphones belonging to Flores de Dios also contained videos of a second adult male abusing the victim.”

Flores de Dios was also sentenced to lifetime supervised release and must register as a sex offender, in addition to 30 years in prison.

U.S. Department of Homeland Security Acting Assistant Secretary Lauren Bis said Flores de Dios, 36, will be deported after he’s released. ICE issued a detainer request for him in January.

“This illegal alien repeatedly sexually abused a child younger than 13 and filmed it to produce child pornography,” Bis said. “He will now be behind bars for the next 30 years. Once his sentence is complete, we will remove him from our country so that he can never harm another innocent child. Under President Trump and Secretary Mullin, we are putting the safety of the American people first.”

According to DHS, Flores de Dios, was caught by U.S. Border Patrol trying to illegally enter the U.S. in 2005 and returned to Mexico, but reentered illegally at an unknown time.
