A missing girl from New York was found in Illinois – accompanied by two illegal immigrants – by the U.S. Marshals Service.
The child was reported missing from her Rochester, N.Y., home on Sept. 11, with local police requesting the service’s help.
Camera footage obtained by law enforcement showed three individuals taking the girl in a light-colored SUV.
Information obtained by the U.S. Marshals in New York and the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children indicated the girl was transported to the Chicago area. Marshals located the girl in an apartment in Blue Island, south of Chicago.
According to the service, U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement found the two men who were with the girl, an 18-year-old man and his father, are both in the U.S. illegally.

“The United States Marshals Service worked tirelessly to recover this endangered child from the predators who should have never been in this country to take her from the safety of her family and home,” U.S. Marshals Service Director Gadyaces Serralta said. “Our children deserve safe cities!”
Marshals often assist local law enforcement in searching for missing or endangered children under the Justice for Victims of Trafficking Act of 2015, said the service, which is part of the Justice Department.
“THIS is what real compassion looks like,” Republican U.S. Rep. Nick Langworthy said in a post on X. “Thank God she is now safe & will return to her family. Bravo, @USMarshalsHQ!”
