U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement announced the arrests of additional criminal illegal aliens across the country, including individuals convicted of homicide, indecent liberties with a child, unlawful sex with a minor and other serious crimes.
According to the Department of Homeland Security, the arrests are part of ongoing enforcement actions targeting individuals identified as public safety threats. Officials said those taken into custody include offenders convicted of rape, child sexual abuse and homicide-related crimes.
Acting Assistant Secretary Lauren Bis said Immigration and Customs Enforcement officers continue nationwide operations focused on individuals with serious criminal histories.
“Day in and day out, the brave men and women of ICE are risking their lives to remove criminal illegal aliens from our communities,” Bis said. “Yesterday’s arrests included murderers, pedophiles, and rapists. The media may refuse to cover it, but these are the heinous criminals we are removing from American neighborhoods every day.”
The Department of Homeland Security also announced that Homeland Security Investigations agents arrested three criminal illegal aliens convicted of sex crimes against children in Minnesota in a single day.
“In one day, ICE law enforcement arrested three convicted child predators in Minnesota,” Bis said. “These individuals can no longer prey on innocent children. President Trump and Secretary Mullin are putting the safety of children first.”
Below are five offenders highlighted by federal authorities:
Perez-Baez, a criminal illegal alien from Mexico, was convicted in Forsyth County, North Carolina, of statutory rape and indecent liberties with a child. Immigration and Customs Enforcement officers arrested him during enforcement actions targeting individuals convicted of crimes against minors.
Jose Silvino Colorado-Hernandez
Colorado-Hernandez, a criminal illegal alien from Mexico, was convicted in Marysville, California, of oral copulation with a person under 16 and unlawful sex with a minor under 16. Federal officials said he was taken into custody during recent enforcement operations.
Rosario-Miranda, a criminal illegal alien from Guatemala, was convicted of third-degree aggravated sexual abuse of a minor. Homeland Security Investigations special agents arrested him in Worthington, Minnesota.
Martinez-Castillo, a criminal illegal alien from Honduras, was arrested in Worthington, Minnesota. Federal officials said his criminal history includes the sexual assault of a 7-year-old.
Flores-Lue, a criminal illegal alien from El Salvador, was arrested in Luverne, Minnesota. Department of Homeland Security officials identified him as a convicted rapist of a 5-year-old.
