Last week’s ‘worst of the worst’ includes violent and sexual offenders

U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement announced the arrests of additional criminal illegal aliens across the country, including individuals convicted of offenses such as carnal knowledge of a minor, rape, criminal sexual assault, murder and armed robbery.

According to the Department of Homeland Security, the arrests were part of ongoing enforcement efforts targeting public safety threats nationwide. Officials said those taken into custody include gang members and individuals previously convicted of violent crimes.

“Today, some Democrats in Congress are planning to bring illegal aliens as guests to the State of the Union. Once again, they are putting illegal aliens above the safety of American citizens,” Deputy Assistant Secretary Lauren Bis said. “Yesterday alone our officers arrested pedophiles, rapists, and violent criminals from our communities. President Trump and Secretary Noem have made it abundantly clear: if you come to our country illegally and break our laws, we will find you, we will arrest you, and you will NEVER return.”

Bis also said nearly 70% of Immigration and Customs Enforcement arrests involve illegal aliens charged or convicted of crimes in the United States. She noted that the figure does not include foreign fugitives, suspected terrorists or human rights abusers who may not have a criminal record inside the country.

Below are five of the offenders highlighted by federal authorities:

Jorge Luis Gomez-Gallardo

Gomez-Gallardo, a criminal illegal alien from Cuba, was convicted of carnal knowledge of a child between the ages of 13 and 14 in Harrisonburg, Virginia. Federal officials identified him as one of the individuals recently arrested as part of Immigration and Customs Enforcement operations targeting sex offenders and other violent criminals.

Luis Armando Valdovinos-Valenica

Valdovinos-Valenica, a criminal illegal alien from Mexico, was identified by authorities as a Known Suspected Terrorist and a member of the MS-13 gang. He was convicted in San Mateo County, California, of murder, first-degree robbery and first-degree burglary. Department of Homeland Security officials said his arrest was part of a broader effort to locate and detain individuals convicted of serious violent offenses.

Parsram Chettana

Chettana, a criminal illegal alien from Guyana, was convicted of rape in Schenectady, New York. Immigration and Customs Enforcement officers arrested him during recent enforcement actions focused on individuals with sexual offense convictions.

Agustine Hernandez-Almaraz

Hernandez-Almaraz, a criminal illegal alien from Mexico, was convicted of criminal sexual assault in Winnebago County, Illinois. Authorities included him among those arrested in operations targeting public safety threats, including individuals with felony sexual assault convictions.

Johnny Umanzor-Cardenas

Umanzor-Cardenas, a criminal illegal alien from Honduras, was convicted in Houston, Texas, of aggravated assault with a weapon, larceny, resisting an officer and unauthorized use of a vehicle. Federal officials said he was taken into custody as part of nationwide enforcement efforts aimed at individuals with violent criminal histories.

“Yesterday, ICE arrested public safety threats across the country, including a Known Suspected Terrorist and MS-13 gang member convicted of murder,” Bis said. “Nearly 70% of ICE arrests are of illegal aliens charged or convicted of a crime in the United States. This statistic does not even count foreign fugitives, terrorists, and human rights abusers who lack a rap sheet in the U.S. Under President Trump and Secretary Noem, ICE is putting AMERICANS first.”

Department of Homeland Security officials said enforcement actions targeting gang members, rapists, kidnappers and other violent offenders remain ongoing nationwide.
