A senior White House official has confirmed that the Trump administration is revoking the parole of 6,300 illegals who entered the United States under Biden-era policies despite being flagged for criminal records or placement on the FBI’s Terrorist Screening Center watchlist. These individuals were paroled into the country with minimal screening and no legal status, raising serious concerns about national security and the integrity of U.S. immigration procedures.
“Under the Biden administration, it was routine for Border Patrol to admit aliens into the United States with no legal status and minimal screening,” the official told the Daily Caller. The official added that these paroles were granted since 2023 and have now been terminated with immediate effect. The parole program was intended to allow temporary entry for individuals awaiting immigration hearings, but it has been widely criticized for its lack of rigorous background checks.
Despite having no legal immigration status, each of the paroled illegals obtained a Social Security number, which opened the door to a slew of federal benefits. Among them, 905 were collecting Medicaid, including four individuals on the terrorist watch list, costing taxpayers $276,000. Forty-one individuals received Unemployment Insurance, totaling $42,000. Twenty-two secured federal student loans worth $280,000. Another 409 more claimed net tax refunds in 2024, amounting to $751,000. An unspecified number also received SNAP (food stamp) benefits.
The illegals in question were admitted through Biden’s parole programs, including the controversial CHNV initiative, which has already flown over 500,000 individuals from Cuba, Haiti, Nicaragua, and Venezuela into the U.S. This program has been marred by allegations of fraud, including individuals entering the country without sufficient vetting or documentation.
“They allowed more than half a million loosely vetted aliens… to enter the United States through these disastrous parole programs,” said a senior DHS official. “They granted them opportunities to compete for American jobs, forced career civil servants to promote the programs even when fraud was identified, and then blamed Republicans in Congress for the chaos that ensued and the crime that followed.”
The Trump administration has now begun issuing termination notices and is moving to dismantle what it describes as a “fraud-ridden” system that endangered national security and misused public funds. The decision to revoke parole comes after mounting pressure from lawmakers and law enforcement agencies calling for stronger vetting procedures and a crackdown on illegal immigration.
