U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement announced a new series of arrests involving criminal illegal aliens convicted of serious offenses, including murder, sexual assault of children, kidnapping, and drug trafficking. Federal officials said the enforcement actions were carried out across multiple states as part of ongoing operations targeting public safety threats.
Assistant Secretary Tricia McLaughlin said ICE officers continue to prioritize arrests of criminal offenders despite political opposition. “While sanctuary politicians release criminal illegal aliens from their jails to victimize more American families and children, our officers continue to arrest criminals,” McLaughlin said. She added that nearly 70% of ICE arrests involve illegal aliens charged with or convicted of crimes in the United States, noting that the figure does not include foreign fugitives, gang members, or individuals without prior U.S. criminal records.
McLaughlin also addressed criticism directed at federal law enforcement during a recent congressional hearing. “While they were demonizing our law enforcement, our officers were risking their lives arresting criminal illegal aliens including multiple child rapists, kidnappers, and violent assailants,” she said, citing increased assaults and threats against officers during enforcement operations.
Among those arrested were the following offenders:
Roberto Xochimitl-Flores – Mexico
Xochimitl-Flores, a criminal illegal alien from Mexico, was convicted in New York, N.Y., of second-degree sexual abuse involving sexual contact with a person under 14 years old, a felony offense under New York law.

Lisandro Omar Borjas-Aguirano – Honduras
Borjas-Aguirano, a criminal illegal alien from Honduras, was convicted in Collin County, Texas, of sexual assault of a child, a felony offense involving a minor victim under Texas law.

Rigoberto Salvia-Ricardo – Cuba
Salvia-Ricardo, a criminal illegal alien from Cuba, was convicted in Jefferson Parish, La., of sexual battery of a juvenile, a criminal offense involving unlawful sexual contact with a minor.

Gustavo Moronatti-Campos – Mexico
Moronatti-Campos, a criminal illegal alien from Mexico and a registered sex offender pictured above, was convicted in Riverside, Calif., of aggravated sexual assault of a minor under 14 years old.
Daniel Cardona-Soriano – Mexico
Cardona-Soriano, a criminal illegal alien from Mexico, was convicted in Hidalgo County, Texas, of aggravated sexual assault of a child, a felony offense involving a minor victim.

ICE officials said the arrests reflect continued enforcement efforts focused on identifying and removing criminal illegal aliens convicted of serious offenses, emphasizing that operations will continue nationwide.
