Aliber Fuentes Trejo/Mexico/Driving Under the Influence

Aliber Fuentes Trejo, a Mexico national found to be in the country illegally, was arrested in Caldwell, Idaho, on charges of driving under the influence, unlawful reentry.

Local law enforcement and federal immigration enforcement have coordinated on DUI arrests involving illegal aliens as part of broader public safety initiatives. For Trejo, the impaired driving charge will be handled through the state court system, while a separate federal immigration removal proceeding moves forward in parallel.
