The Trump administration highlighted some of the “worst of the worst” criminal illegals that federal immigration enforcement arrested in the last week, including convicted child molesters, murderers, and drug traffickers.
Among arrests made by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) on Tuesday were Cristobal Benito-Benito, an illegal from Guatemala with a first-degree child molestation conviction in Rhode Island, according to the U.S. Department of Homeland Security.
Others arrested include Ludwid Lemus, from Guatemala, who has convictions for aggravated assault and alien possession of a firearm in Tennessee; and Abraham Blandon, an illegal from Nicaragua with burglary, and drug and weapons possession convictions in California.

“Every single day, the brave men and women of ICE are arresting and removing illegal aliens from American communities,” DHS Secretary Markwayne Mullin said on Wednesday. “Just yesterday, ICE arrested child molesters, murder-for-hire masterminds, violent assailants, and other dangerous illegal aliens.”
“Under the Trump Administration, DHS is enforcing the law, deporting illegal aliens, and defending the homeland,” he added. “It’s no wonder crime rates have reached historic lows. We will always put the safety of the American people first.”
DHS also recently highlighted some of the worst criminal illegals arrested over Labor Day weekend.
Those arrests included Phonsavanh Kanjanabout, an illegal from Laos with a murder conviction in Florida; Abraham Pineda, an illegal from Mexico with a murder conviction in California; and Aurelio Roldan-Roldan, an illegal from Ecuador with child rape and child pornography convictions in Massachusetts.
Others arrested over the weekend included Minh Duc Ngo Nguyen, an illegal from Vietnam with an armed robbery conviction; Juan Gonzalez-Lopez, an illegal from Mexico with a meth dealing conviction; and Fabricio Garces-Bedoya, an Ecuadorian with convictions for smuggling heroin and distributing controlled substances.
The arrests so far in September come after ICE had a record month in August, arresting almost 51,000 illegal immigrants. ICE also arrested 50,208 illegals in July, and 43,900 in June.
