by G. George | December 31, 2025

ICE Enforcement and Removal Operations officers in Boston have detained Liberian national Alvin Green after identifying him as a removable noncitizen with a broad and serious criminal record.

His charges include felony assault with a dangerous weapon, drug possession and transportation, forgery, reckless conduct, second-degree assault, disorderly conduct, shoplifting, and multiple licensing violations, reflecting a sustained pattern of violent, fraudulent, and public-order offenses.

Authorities report that Green was apprehended without incident and processed under standard immigration enforcement procedures, then designated a high‑priority case for removal because of both the severity and variety of his offenses.

He remains in ICE custody while deportation steps proceed, and officials state that his continued detention is intended to protect community safety and ensure he is removed from the United States as soon as legally permissible.
